| I was very pleased to attend the Installation Meeting of Friendship Mark Lodge No 1549 to support V.W.Bro. Ken Alker PGJO, the PGM's Representative. There were no less than 7 Grand Officers in attendance which was nice to see. |

| Bro. Alan Cornes ably Installed, as Worshipful Master, Bro. Alan Taylor assisted by W.Bro. Tony Johnson PProvAGDC who explained the Working Tools of a Mark Master Mason and W.Bro Terry Tasker PProvGJW who gave the Keystone Address. |

| W.Bro. Terry Tasker also addressed the Master, WBro. Malcolm Sergeant PADGC addressed the Wardens and WBro. Brian Skinner PGStdB addressed the Overseers. Finally V.W.Bro. Alker addressed the Brethren. |

| During the evening Ken was presented with charitable donations totalling £300, a magnificent amount from a small Lodge. |

| There followed a very pleasant Festive Board where further funds were raised for charitable purposes by a well supported raffle. |
